RailPros provides comprehensive consulting services for the rail industry.  We specialize in areas of RWIC/railroad flagging, project management, observation and inspection, real estate, rail design and engineering, training, and media production.  As a leader in our industry, RailPros’ projects create long-term value for our clients from concept through operation by providing technical excellence and outstanding services.  We are seeking an Office Engineer to join our growing team in Pomona, CA.

Our Office Engineer will perform the following duties:

Contract Administration:

  • Review and approve client invoices.
  • Fill out Form 60’s for CTO’s and revisions
  • Support Contract Manager with various contractual responsibilities.
  • Track progress of multiple CTO’s
  • Support

Office Engineering:

  • Review Submittals and RFI’s for conformance to standards.
  • Review Pay Applications from contractors
  • Review Inspection and Production reports.
  • Take meeting minutes
  • Create meeting agendas
  • Participate in conference calls and site meetings
  • Document control

Design Support:

  • Provide support for the design team for various projects

Project Manger/Construction Management Support

  • Participate in Job Walks
  • Develop independent cost estimates



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Min 5 years of experience
  • Proficient in drawing/detailing plans using Microstation and/or AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Bluebeam
  • Mircrosoft 365 Suite - especially excel
  • PE or EIT in California


Preferred Qualifications:

  • previous experience working within railroad industry
