Description

Newport Restaurant Group is looking for a skilled Director of Facilities to join our team!

About the Position: The Corporate Director of Facilities preserves the assets of Newport Restaurant Group, as well as any and all systems that serve our business operations, residential properties, and office buildings.

About You: You are highly analytical, passionate, and have a strong background in project or facility managment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees Facilities Manager & HVAC/R Technician
  • Coordinate routine maintenance & dispatch of resources through Facilities Manager
  • Oversee management of Service Channel work-order platform including: asset management, reporting and cost controls
  • Oversight of Building Systems HVAC monitoring software including: establishing control parameters, scheduling, & notifications
  • Oversees all maintenance-related vendor and service provider selection, and manages those relationships to maximize value
  • Negotiates service contracts, & procurement of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Oversee semi-annual business unit facility assessments
  • Cost estimate Maintenance Capital expense projects
  • Manage & executes Maintenance Capital expense projects
  • Ensure compliance with State & Local Municipal code, regulations, & safety standards

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation $110,000-$155,000/Year! (Salary negotiable based on prior experience)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, and 5 years of Project Management or Facilities Management experience.
  • Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed

  • Outstanding mathematical & reasoning abilities
  • Proficient in building control systems software & Service Channel work-order platform or similar software
  • Highly analytical, critical thinker with great attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational & planning skills
  • Outstanding project management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Smartsheets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Competent with advanced electrical, plumbing, HVAC, & construction work methods as well as disaster response
