Position Summary:

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the intake of supplies from multiple vendors, and for routing supplies to all departments, internal sites and clients in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator is also responsible for following the relevant CAP regulations for proper storage, placement, and labeling of chemicals and supplies. Due to various environmental hazards presented in the workplace such as formalin, communicable disease, fresh human tissue, etc., the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator must adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

Essential Duties:

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator may perform any of the following duties or groups of duties:

  1. Fills and ships client & department supply orders
  2. Intakes large shipments and routes packages and critical supplies
  3. Reconciles receiving/purchasing documents and enters into accounting system
  4. Daily monitoring of internal supplies page
  5. Replenishes routine laboratory supplies
  6. Orders office refreshments
  7. Other duties as assigned

  4. Knowledgeable of relevant CAP regulations
  5. Knowledge of SOPs and PPE requirements



  1. High school graduate required
  2. Basic to Intermediate level of Excel preferred
  3. Preferred experience in warehouse or with medical equipment
  4. Clinical/laboratory experience preferred


Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
  2. Lift and move boxes/supply items
  3. Walking, bending, squatting
  4. Frequent seated computer use
