What will I be doing?
As the Executive Director of Marketing (B2B), you will work closely with the executive team to develop comprehensive marketing plans to address targeted verticals. You will employ marketing initiatives and branding efforts to achieve short- and long-term B2B goals. The ideal candidate has the right blend of digital marketing and B2B marketing expertise to be able to develop impactful marketing plans that drive awareness, enhance brand perception, and drive engagement with companies, organizations, Small/medium businesses (SMBs), and business travelers. This leader will develop digital, traditional, and social programs that drive sales leads and revenue. As a strong collaborator who builds positive relationships with others across all levels - below, peer, and above - and have experience in all facets of B2B marketing: growth and demand generation, content and brand, digital product marketing, events, and customer marketing.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead the development of our Business-to-Business marketing strategy, with heavy emphasis on digital demand generation
- Develop nurture campaigns and demand generation efforts to drive awareness and interest for company offerings
- Own the development of our Business-to-Business marketing strategy, with a heavy emphasis on digital tools and programs
- Strategize with Sales leadership on marketing needs
- Optimize the B2B customer journey
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners on marketing and design requests
- Support industry partnerships and events, and the Sales team's collateral and presentation needs
- Own the brand cohesion of B2B programs and digital experiences
- Identify ways to improve or enhance marketing team processes and personnel
- Lead and mentor team of marketers
- Develop and manage marketing budgets
- Quickly develop a deep understanding of EMSs products and markets
- Guide the development of lead-gen and branding initiatives
- Develop and implement marketing plans, including new product and market introductions
- Establish and grow target markets through lead development
- Guide the development of innovative advertising, public relations, social media, and events
- Oversee the operation of the company website and collateral
- Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics reviews and reporting
- Work with VP of Sales and VP of Educations Services to develop forecasting, and marketing plans to support upsell and retention strategies
