Summary of Position

The Student Ministry Associate for the Apex Campus will work alongside the Student Ministry Team to carry out the mission of partnering with families to raise a generation for Christ. They will do this by working both internally within our Apex Student Ministry team, as well as externally with our community schools.

• Demonstrates spiritual maturity

• Ability to assist in coordinating volunteers and develop leaders

• A team player willing to do what is best for the gospel, The Summit Church and the Student Ministry

• Loves students

• Knows what it means to “partner with families”, believes in it, and is able to execute it

• Teachable spirit 

• Competent in organization, administration and event planning

• A member of the Summit Church or willing & able to become a member

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in Sunday programming including but not limited to Middle School Life Groups, Middle School Elevate & Wkly.

• Take part in campus and central student meetings.

• Create functioning systems for both our High School and Middle School ministry.

• Operate and oversee the discipleship of our student worship team.

• Help disciple and equip small group leaders.

• Administrative tasks.

• Partner with one local school and disciple students to engage that school as well.
