Summary of Position

The Associate Campus Director serves as the primary leader over Guest Services, assimilation and oversees relationships with Partner Organizations. This individual should have a detail-oriented mind for implementing and overseeing systems.  This position assists in serving, and leading the Summit Church in its mission to follow the holy spirit in creating a movement of disciple-making disciples in the RDU and around the world.

  • Self-motivated, humble, and strong desire to research and implement best practices 

  • Strong ability to communicate the vision of The Summit Church.

  • Strong people skills, ability to build multi-cultural relationships, and work well on a team

  • Teachable spirit

  • Works well in a team atmosphere 

  • Spiritual maturity, and history of disciple-making 

  • Able to organize and run systems 

  • A member of the Summit Church or willing & able to become a member



  • Guest Services

    • Implements the Guest Service culture across the board (from the street to the seat)

    • Upholds the GS culture in all areas, communicating and demonstrating a level of excellence in our hospitality efforts 

    • Oversees the First Time Guest process, leading campus staff to engage and follow up with each guest in the week(s) after their visit

  • Assimilation

    • Oversees the entire process, from First Time Guest follow-up, to Explore The Summit, to becoming a Member, to interviews and signing the covenant.

    • Works with the Campus Admin and assimilation team to keep detailed records of those involved in the process.

  • Volunteer Culture

    • Identifies, invites, trains, and deploys volunteers into service, keeping up with them at all points of the process

    • Ensures volunteers understand the vision, mission, and opportunities to serve both inside and outside the walls of the Apex Campus

    • Collaborates with other ministry leaders to determine the best avenues of service

  • Relationship with Partnering Organizations

    • Will oversee the relationship with any partner organizations that are contracted to use the Apex Facilities.

    • Serve as the point of contact for the partnering organization and be the liaison between the organization and the church.

    • Will work closely with the Campus Administrator to ensure the partnering organization is set-up for success.

    • Director will communicate with the Campus Pastor on a regular basis regarding the usage and relationship of any partnering organizations.
