At a glance:

This is an entry to mid-level media agency position that will manage data sets for assigned clients, providing analytical support and research to executive management, client services/new business, media and data operations departments. Your efforts will play a key part in our overall success, and you’ll get to join a close-knit team. This person could work remotely or out of our Warwick, Rhode Island office.

 

What does a Data Operations Specialist do at MMSI?

  • Receive, prepare and manage daily data sets from outside vendors
  • Accurately and efficiently upload data into our proprietary database for analysis, manually inputting data as needed
  • Prepare and analyze daily and weekly media reports for multiple clients and internal staff, and translate the data into meaningful summaries calling out key points
  • Compile and decipher data and identify spikes in Google Analytics
  • Problem solve by sorting bad data and discrepancies
  • Pull, compile, and present impression, research and competitive data (Nielsen/MRI/Kantar)
  • Prepare and process dub orders and manage tracking code assignments
  • Build and maintain client facing dashboards updating data daily
  • Assist in measurement planning for new campaigns

  • Additional duties as assigned

What makes a great Data Operations Specialist at MMSI?

  • 1-2 years of data entry and analysis experience, with a background in marketing, advertising, or sales preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, and Outlook, with advanced knowledge of pivot tables and v-look ups
