Job Summary:

At 3dcart, we are dedicated to providing SaaS commerce solutions and services for all business types, from startups to large corporations. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and competitive eCommerce Channel Sales Director to join our growing team. In this role, you will discover and cultivate strategic partnerships with the goal of driving significant revenue growth and market expansion for 3dcart.

The primary role of the eCommerce Channel Sales Director is driving and cultivating relationships with design agencies, web developers, marketing agencies, hosting companies, payment ISOs, and other resellers in the SaaS sector to enhance our customer acquisition efforts and competitive position. Focus areas include outreach to potential resellers, securing the relationship. The CSD will be measured against a set of success criteria, including revenue growth and new accounts acquisition.



  • The CSD’s primary duties include driving new business to 3dcart through the prospecting and signing of new partners to 3dcart such as Affiliates - social media influencers, bloggers, value-added resellers(VARs), web designers, agencies who have the ability to move serious production.

  • Own the reseller efforts and relationships for the company.

  • Develop new reseller relationships by identifying and engaging high potential leads across a variety of verticals and nurturing those leads into becoming active resellers.

  • Work with resellers to implement success metrics, including specific KPIs that drive merchant adoption and revenue growth.

  • Define, track and report to management KPIs and goals.

  • Work closely with the Marketing, Support and Sales teams to ensure successful onboarding and launches of acquired resellers.

  • Conduct all contract management and negotiations with resellers.

  • Effectively develop strategies and execute plans for resellers, coordinate marketing activities with the Marketing team.

  • The CSD is a subject matter expert on all things pertaining to the partnership.

  • Creating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements with new partners.

  • Prepare and execute a structured, planned agenda/meeting curriculum when presenting to partners via phone or on-site visits.

  • Identify marketing opportunities through conversations with partners and implementing those plans to coincide with new partner launch.

  • Updating and keeping accurate records in CRM on the partner merchant base.

  • Actively prospecting, attending trade shows, conferences, on-site meetings/visits and hunting new strategic relationships.

  • 6+ years of experience in Business Development, Technology Partnership Programs, and Channel Partners. Industry experience strongly preferred. Focus and experience in eCommerce required.

  • Experience working in eCommerce or software companies. Experience within a SaaS platform or eCommerce organization driving adoption of a SaaS-based solution with Partners and their clients required.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. MBA or advanced degree helpful.

  • Proven experience building and launching successful and innovative partner programs and global alliance programs through their lifecycle both internally and externally; developing and managing the plan for each partner.

  • Exceptional analytical skills to lead efforts and guide decision making to achieve goals set to help grow the company.

  • Strong planning, analytical, project management, and leadership skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills be able to create professional content and presentations for partner-related internal and external documents.
