The Director of After-Care will develop a continuum of care program focusing on bringing the love of Jesus and hope for a new life to our guests (formerly homeless neighbors) through case management after exiting from our programs. The Director functions as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team with Program VPs and Program Managers, responsible for the development and implementation of case management to aid exited guests in maintaining self-sufficiency for two years after leaving program. The Director will develop program policies, training, assessments for the ongoing development of After-Care department staff.




  • Plan, Implement, Evaluate and Improve aftercare services to serve exiting families
  • Ensure all aftercare services are high quality, trauma-informed and support stable housing.
  • Work closely with program directors across the organization to ensure standardization of processes, policies and interventions.
  • Develop, direct, train and implement Standards of Care, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards for the department.
  • Develop a best in class Aftercare Case Management model that includes training and measurement assessments
  • Create and direct ongoing needs assessment, audits, and program evaluations, including from staff and client input
  • Develop and monitor budget and contracts for the program, services, and staffing levels in service of families.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Data to review and create reliable statistical reporting and analysis.
  • Facilitate weekly housing meetings and supervise the aftercare team ensuring that each member is working within their scope and meeting deliverables and the needs of the families.
  • Conduct on-going departmental and operational reviews of and modifications to program interventions, policies and/or procedures as appropriate.
  • Provide thought leadership and oversight of (and resolution of) grievances, critical incidents and crisis response.
  • In collaboration with the Associate VP of Program Services, create a staffing structure that can scale including developing departmental goals and accountabilities

 Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Science role (Social Services, Social Work, Pychology, etc.).  A Master’s degree is preferred.  A combination of education and 7 years relatable experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Five or more years of experience in addiction recovery services or social services
  • Proficient to advanced computer skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, Excel


Work Environment


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time in a temperature-controlled environment.  Occasionally will stand, balance, twist, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms.  Occasionally lifts up to 20 pounds and walks, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within the company.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
