Bellevue Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of  Golf Shop Attendant/Cashier team member.  Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the patrons of Bellevue. 

Assists customers of the Golf Course

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Books tee times
  • Rents golf equipment
  • Assigns golf carts and tee times
  • Sells shop merchandise
  • Opens, closes, and secures Pro Shop and carts
  • Keeps shelves stocked and tidy
  • Keeps work areas clean throughout shop
  • Discusses merchandise and equipment ordering with management
  • Opens and closes cash register, cashes out daily income, makes daily deposits and enters into ledger
  • Assists all customers as necessary
  • Other duties to be assigned

*Additional duty for trained club fitters:

  • Oversee club fitting services in the golf shop

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

No experience or education necessary. Must be customer service oriented. Golf knowledge helpful.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and technical procedures. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Math Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
