Description

Bellevue Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Cafe Server team member.  Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the patrons of Bellevue.

Starting Date 5/1/2021

Service of beverage and/or food in a friendly, courteous and timely manner, resulting in guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Checks and maintains proper set-up and cleanliness of service station before, during and after shift
  • Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains all specials, promotions and snacks
  • Takes orders and inputs them into point of sale system to inform bartender an order was made in a timely order.
  • Replenishes beverages as requested
  • Presents the guest with the check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return
  • Abides by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • Other duties to be assigned
  • Must be able to work weekends

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

No experience or education necessary. Must be customer service oriented.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and technical procedures. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Certificates and Licenses

  • Washington Class 12 alcohol server permit
  • Washington State Food Worker Card

Other Qualifications:

  • Serve Safe, or other foodservice safety certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Math Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
