The Project Manager (PM) ensures project changes are executed efficiently and effectively throughout LifeCenter Northwest. The PM also oversees projects and develops and maintains project management methodologies, standards, and tools. The PM will facilitate the prioritization and implementation of cross-functional projects using Project Management methods and tools to deliver measurable impact on organizational goals.


General Responsibilities

  • Oversees portfolio management by developing and managing a project priority matrix to ensure projects are prioritized appropriately and aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Facilitates the prioritization of projects proposed by LifeCenter leadership.
  • Facilitates the design and implementation of cross-functional projects by evaluating the project scope, timeline, and objectives to ensure projects are positioned for success.
  • Develops project charters to ensure clarity surrounding the project goals, timeline, and scope.
  • Performs data analysis to support the organization, ensuring projects are aligned with strategic objectives and organizational metrics.
  • Plans, executes, monitors, and controls projects from ideation through implementation and completion to ensure projects are managed to priority, scope, charter, and timeline.
  • Chairs and facilitates organizational committee overseeing LifeCenter’s project portfolio.
  • Leads organizational research and development of standard methods and processes, developing consistent working practices, and ensuring they are deployed appropriately
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the organization regarding Project Management practices and project delivery systems.
  • Coordinates with departmental staff and leadership on strategic and cross-functional initiatives to improve outcomes, optimize the use of organizational resources and maintain organizational alignment.
  • Champions the development of a Project Management culture by developing Project Management infrastructure, tools, and guidelines, acting as a resource, and engaging LifeCenter staff in developing and implementing cross-functional projects
  • Provide recommendations to ensure proper investment in tools, processes, and people to govern LifeCenter’s project portfolio, document controls, and project management training.
  • Leads Change Management initiatives and facilitate the development of problem-solving initiatives and process change. Regularly report the status of projects and related impact.
  • Assists leadership and staff in identifying and evaluating opportunities for improvement.
  • Research, design, and deliver appropriate Project Management training to staff and leadership. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional projects with favorable outcomes
  • Experience with change management is preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to form and sustain strong working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Must also be comfortable facilitating project management tools and speaking in front of a group of people.
  • Multi-tasking, i.e., ability to function and complete work with competing priorities and expectations, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Personal and interpersonal skills, i.e., clear speaking, discreet, considerate, sensitive, and collaborative. Must have the ability to function independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and good follow-through.
  • Advanced knowledge of personal computers with superior skills in desktop programs (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and other comparable software programs).



Education, Experience & Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is preferred
  • Relevant work history can be substituted for academic requirements
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred, but not required
  • A minimum of two years of project management experience is required, five years of project management experience preferred


This position requires the employee to reside in Western Washington.
