Essential Functions and Duties

  • Plan, produce and curate creative, innovative, and engaging brand content including eye catching photography, video content, and on-brand copy.
  • Provide strategy to elevate awareness, earn brand loyalty, promote market innovation, and drive revenue across a variety of emerging technology platforms.
  • Own and manage all company social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc. driving best practices and monitoring current trends.
  • Lead strategy and execute performance evaluations for all company social media sites while exploring new ways to grow and continue to engage the online community.
  • Strategically plan, manage, and execute editorial content calendars including content brainstorming, creation, collaboration, timing, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Ensure brand integrity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines on all internal and external platforms while supporting the growth of iconic and enduring brands in-market.
  • Monitor and engage communities within GLBC’s owned channels, responding to user-generated comments, content, and feedback to create a positive brand experience and strong engagement, in alignment with GLBC’s brand voice and personality.
  • Ensure exceptional, timely, and responsive customer service across all internal and external platforms.
  • Evaluate and evolve user experience marketing tools that align with industry, behavioral, and commercial trends to engage, excite, and broaden audience and consumer base.
  • Drive strategy, align, and support tailored media, influencer marketing, and public relation efforts through:
    • Paid media
    • Earned media
    • Owned media
    • Community management
    • Press releases and announcements
    • Media database and marketing communications calendars
    • Managing and fulfilling media engagements, interviews, and photo and video shoots
    • Conducting product sample outreach, fulfillment, and media kit distribution
    • Communicating larger marketing efforts internally/across departments
  • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
  • Establish benchmark metrics, provide regular content/channel performance reports/analytics, and apply KPI learnings to drive multimedia content strategy and investment decisions.
  • Independently manage and organize priorities, workflow, and deadlineswhile delivering finished work on-brand, error-free, and on-time.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team to drive internal communication opportunities through creative and informative in-reach, in-vertising, and emerging technologies.
  • Serve as a GLBC spokesperson and reliable brand representative for media, public relations, events, and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media learnings, trends, and demographics, both within and outside of segment.
  • Provide administrative support to Marketing Team as needed.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, English, communications, or social media community management field required or equivalent experience

Work Experience

Minimum of 4+ years professional experience in related field required

Required Qualifications

  • Solid written communication skills, particularly grammar, copywriting, and proofreading.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with ability to give and accept honest and direct feedback.
  • A creative and original thinker who can apply knowledge across a range of systems.
  • Proven media and public relations/public speaking experience.
  • Must be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office programs and solid knowledge of marketing concepts and tools.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn and create new systems and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience with Adobe PhotoShop and photo editing skills.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, in-app video editing, and audio recording/editing.
  • Must display a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License with a driving record considered acceptable based on company’s insurance matrix.
  • Willingness to work flexible and extended hours as needed (including evenings and weekends).
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
