Job Summary:


The Marketing Associate will provide day-to-day support to the Flaherty & Collins Properties Marketing Department. The  Marketing Associate will oversee the Flaherty & Collins Properties social media brand presence across multiple channels, assist in the planning, implementing, and monitoring of digital marketing for managed apartment communities and enhance the online reputation of Flaherty & Collins Properties corporate office and managed apartment communities. The Marketing Associate will also serve as a direct and key point of contact on a number of project-based marketing objectives for apartment communities to support Property Management and Development goals and objectives.



Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage Flaherty & Collins Properties corporate social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and act as liaison and strategist for fee managed owner’s social media accounts
  • Design secondary marketing collateral for both corporate and apartment communities (e.g. property flyers, pricing sheets, advertisements, social media graphics, business cards)
  • Analyze, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess goals (ROI’s)
  • Assist in the planning and execution of all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns for Flaherty & Collins Properties communities and third-party fee managed properties
  • Evaluate important metrics that affect company and individual property website traffic, service quotas, and target audience
  • Manage property specific websites as key point of contact for vendors and management team members
  • Manage online reputation management (Google, Yelp) respond to reviews, track key metrics around online reputation
  • Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization
  • Partner with Training Department to create robust training on digital marketing and importance of online reputation management for site team members
  • Assist the Marketing Department in evaluating emerging technologies
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital and creative marketing
  • Create, maintain, and serve as point of contact for key marketing client/vendor relationships as directed
  • Other projects as assigned and directed



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field, and/or 2+ years of equivalent experience
  • Experience in graphic design, digital marketing, and social media management
  • Demonstrated experience with SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landings pages and user funnels
  • Solid knowledge of website and Marketing Analytics Tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Highly creative, with excellent analytical skills
  • Up to date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
