STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Lakeshore Beverage is seeking a full-time staff accountant to join our accounting and finance department. This position will work closely with accounting management and will be exposed to many facets of the accounting and finance operations, with particular specialization in managing key gross margin programs and the related accounts receivable.
Primary responsibilities:
- Daily:
o Accurately enter, review, update, and maintain product allowances in the company’s route accounting system from over 60 product suppliers
o Liaise with product managers, accounting and finance staff, and external product suppliers to address questions or issues and provide solutions
- Weekly:
o Produce weekly analysis reports to identify and resolve product allowance issues
o Collaborate with accounting team to review and address gross margin variances
o Collaborate with A/R and A/P team members to appropriately identify and apply supplier payments
o Review supplier accounts receivable balances with A/R Manager
- Monthly:
o Generate and submit invoices and reimbursement programs for all product suppliers and accrue the resulting accounts receivable
o Generate and submit miscellaneous supplier invoices as supplied by product and marketing managers
o Accurately enter invoices on supplier account receivable accounts
o Reconcile supplier accounts receivable and any other accounts as assigned
o Assist with monthly close as needed
- Annually:
o Assist with annual cycles for budgeting, price increases, and financial audits as needed
