The position of Events and Operations Manager is integral to The Westminster Schools Enrollment Services program. This highly organized, detail-oriented, confident leader will plan and execute events sponsored by the Office of Admissions & Enrollment Services (Admissions Department). Under the guidance of the Director of Admissions, this strategic logistician will oversee the development, execution, and follow up for events that advance the strategic initiatives of Westminster's Admissions Department and deepens the Schools relationships with its applicants.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Admissions Associates
Position Status: Salaried, exempt, full-time, regular, 12-month position.
Hours of Work: Standard work week. Hours may vary depending on the schedule of events. Some evening and weekend work will be required during the Admissions season. Off season and holiday remote work offered.
- Coordinates the master schedule for Admissions activities, in conjunction with the Admissions team
- Leads the collaborative planning process to execute successful PF-12 grade Admissions events including: timelines, agendas, run-of-show plans; budgets; event set-up; signage; logistics, volunteers, staff, and vendors.
- Manages parent, student and alumni volunteers
- Manages the execution and logistics of external admissions events, off campus fairs, and recruiting event for the admissions team.
- Manages Onboarding process and New Family events.
- Supports the ongoing development of family communications, e.g. social media, webinars, etc.
- Manages the admissions process within project management software (e.g. Asana).
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree required.
Minimum of five years experience in event planning; volunteer management in non-profit organization a plus.
Flexible, highly energetic, creative and confident to ensure high-quality execution and leadership for events.
Polished and diplomatic communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse constituents; significant experience working with high-level volunteers and staff.
Proven logistical and planning skills; extremely organized with the ability to manage and oversee all aspects of planning and executing a variety of events, including multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated with the ability to work both as a team member and independently, to take initiative, and to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive and fluid environment, with attention to detail and accuracy.
High level of computer technology skills including tools such as MS Office in a Mac environment, Google/G-Suite applications, Asana, Admissions Applicant (Ravenna) and Student Information (Veracross) Systems, with the ongoing curiosity and ability to learn new systems and technology
Fundamental understanding of and commitment to the Schools culture, mission, and vision; a growth mindset with interest in process improvement and self-development
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; talk and hear; and engage in moderately strenuous physical activity both indoors and out. The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and may frequently walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
Travel is primarily local during the regular business day. Overnight and out-of-area travel is not typical, but may be offered for training purposes.
