Description

The Accounting Assistant supports a fast-paced accounting team in a high-growth company. We will count on this person to review/approve purchase card purchases, Marketing Development Fund reimbursements, Customer Product Case credits, maintain Accounts Payable files and perform general administrative duties, as well as, support Accounts Receivable functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review and approve credit card purchases through the expense reporting software. Verify the proper coding and documentation is present.
  • Monitor that credit card holders submit documentation into Certify in a timely manner. 
  • Contact cardholder with any questions.
  • Process Marketing Development Funds (MDF) reimbursement requests. Enter request into Account Payable for processing.
  • Process Customer Product Case credit requests.  Enter request into Account Payable for processing.
  • Support Accounts Payable section. Maintain AP Aging files.  Generate weekly check runs and mail AP checks.
  • Perform general administrative duties as assigned

  • Accounting experience preferred
  • STRONG Microsoft Excel and quantitative skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with evolving deadlines
  • Eager to learn and embrace technology
  • Good verbal, writing and proof-reading skills
