Description

The Sr. Recruiter is responsible for partnering with leaders on the development and execution of the hiring/sourcing plans aligned with long-term business and organizational objectives and building candidate pipelines. Manages the full life-cycle recruitment process for all assigned requisitions. Leverages data and market insights to ensure recruiting philosophies, strategies and processes are optimized to deliver value and impact to the organization. Works closely with hiring managers as a trusted advisor through the recruitment process providing relevant guidance on the hiring process, keeping a keen focus on hiring qualified and diverse talent, and ensuring a pipeline of such talent for the future.  The role will bring best practices and will contribute towards creating the organizational recruiting strategy and workforce planning efforts, focused on diverse recruiting. Ensures a high-quality hiring experience for both candidates and managers, ensuring inclusive hiring practices.

 

Recruiting and Onboarding:

  • Manages the full life-cycle recruitment process for all assigned requisitions.
  • Use data, metrics, and understanding of long-term business strategies and external industry landscape to advise and develop optimal staffing solutions. Guide development of hiring plans aligned to needs of the department and/or organization.
  • Use knowledge of business strategy and consult with leaders on critical talent needs and opportunities at department and/or organizational level. Influence consideration of diverse and alternative talent that may not be typically considered.
  • Analyze relevant data and trends to provide insight and consult with leaders to develop hiring plans addressing business goals and talent availability for short-term and long-term needs. Looks for opportunities to link department hiring needs to organizational and cross-functional needs, highlights potential links to leadership.
  • Source and identify qualified talent, including passive candidates, through a variety of outreach methods for department and/or across organization. Create intentional strategies to generate awareness through a variety of sourcing techniques.
  • Research and develop approaches for sourcing strategies designed to attract and retain a diverse workforce department and/or organization.
  • Coach leaders to represent the organization's unique brand, opportunities, and benefits to attract a diverse workforce.
  • Develop a strategic approach to create sourcing strategies to meet immediate and future talent needs for department and/or organization. Create and maintain a pipeline of candidates by leveraging long-term relationships with talent pools and communities across the industry.
  • Build strong and consultative relationships with leaders, cross-functional partners and HR team members in order to create a high-quality hiring experience from recruiting through onboarding.
  • Own the candidate experience. Communicate with candidates through all stages of the recruiting process. Enhance experience by proactively identifying factors that may impact the candidate and partners with leaders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Advise on staffing policies, systems, processes and/or regulations. Lead development and optimization based on evolving organizational needs.
  • Maintains current documentation on candidates’ qualifications and status, ensuring compliance. Captures relevant data in ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and leverages data to inform meaningful insights.
  • Partner closely with HR team to create, deliver and innovate process improvements, policies, procedures, and various other HR initiatives.

  • This position has no formal supervisory responsibility. The position indirectly influences others.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide creative sourcing solutions that achieve hiring goals to create a diverse and highly talented workforce.
  • Proven experience in creating long-term sourcing/hiring strategies, achieving hiring goal, focused on diverse and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Proven expertise in building relationships and maintaining business partnerships through collaboration and consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to identify insights, communicate trends and develop hiring strategies to address talent gaps.
  • Demonstrated courage in providing critical feedback to hiring teams and leadership regarding hiring process and candidate hiring decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated passion and proven capability for enhancing candidate experience.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, fast paced, constantly changing and ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated experiences in critical thinking, influencing and strategic problem solving.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations as applicable to recruiting and hiring practices.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), industry experience related to role, or bachelor’s degree and 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience in sourcing and full-cycle recruiting.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related preferred.
  • Relevant work experience can be considered and substituted for academic requirements. 
  • Experience recruiting for the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in establishing sourcing/hiring plans for diversity recruiting.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
