The digital Media Specialist is responsible for supporting the TVFCU brand by; creating, posting and monitoring social media content; creating and managing strategic promotions, creating and managing marketing collateral, print advertising and Inlighten in-branch video system; managing the credit union store. Serves as the primary marketing contact for e-services; assists with the website, digital advertising, email, texting, branch signage, photography, TV/radio advertising and other Creative Services projects as needed. Also assists with community involvement and other Marketing projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create social media content, schedule and post including self-created content and content created by others. Daily monitoring of social media, including nights and weekends, along with forwarding specific account questions to the appropriate resource for answers.
  • Responsible for strategic promotions of products and services, including Food City, Roper, COC and other branch-specific or need-specific campaigns.
  • Responsible for marketing collateral, and credit union store. Create and manage print advertising. Responsible for Inlighten in-branch video creation and scheduling.
  • Primary marketing contact for e-services needs with tvfcuMOBILE, tvfcuONLINE and tvfcuLIVE stream services.
  • Assist with website, digital advertising, CS3, email, texting, and core system campaigns as needed. Also assist with branch signage needs, video/still photography and TV/radio advertising.
  • Assist with special projects, community involvement, and other marketing efforts as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of branch operations by attaining passing scores for all required online university courses.
  • Proactively demonstrate the TVFCU core values of integrity, honesty, flexibility, teamwork, leadership, accountability and strong relationships in every interaction with members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Media, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or similar, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in Marketing or a closely related field preferred.
  • Intermediate Experience with Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
