Contributes to the success of 1st Security Bank Home Lending by supporting the functions of the processing team; assisting the department as assigned with data entry, clerical duties, and customer service functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Order Payoffs (internal and external)
  • Account Check Updates
  • Order Insurance Binders
  • Order IRS Transcripts
  • Obtain/Document Verbal VOEs
  • Obtain Credit LOEs
  • Obtain 3rd Party Fees
  • Purchase Contract Entry
  • Order Flood Certs
  • Complete USPS Validation
  • Facilitate communication between loan officers, processors, escrow, title, and related companies.
  • Enter order out data into processing software.
  • Scan client documentation into processing software.
  • Provide back up support to Loan Officer Assistants and Processors
  • Provide back up support to Front Desk/Order Out
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Mortgage banking experience preferred with the markets served by 1st Security Bank.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation. Customer may be internal employee or external customer.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and best practices,



  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software. Solid word processing and computer database skills with accurate keyboarding.

  • The employee will operate in a general office environment, using office equipment such as a phone and a computer. The employee must be able to bend and squat occasionally when accessing storage.
