The Role
Gotham Greens is seeking a Marketing Assistant to help Gotham Greens grow as a modern, sustainable fresh food brand. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Marketing team across a variety of areas, including customer service, community engagement, field marketing and PR.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day consumer experiences via our customer care platforms, including phone, email and social media
- Find ways to utilize our customer care platforms and tools not just for reactive support but to promote consumer happiness, brand loyalty and retention
- Help to define goals and service levels to ensure the best consumer experience. Compile monthly consumer experience reports
- Manage promotional product mailers to media, influencers, brand partners and other key stakeholders
- Coordinate branded merchandise and apparel production and inventory
- Support charitable community engagement, maintaining day-to-day relationships with community and non-profit partners and managing product and seedling donation programs across all regions
- Provide project management and activation support for a variety of marketing projects, including field marketing, trade shows and other events, greenhouse tours, media monitoring, presentations, creative production calendar and deliverables, and new product launches
- Support measurement and other tracking needs of the marketing team, such as media placements and upkeep of media/influencer lists
Who You Are
- College graduate with experience in marketing and communications
- Excellent grammar and written and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt tone and voice to various audiences
- Experience with customer service platform (e.g., Zendesk) a plus
- Willingness and ability to periodically attend evening or weekend events
- Self-starter with strong multi-tasking capabilities and a positive can-do approach to problem solving
- Curious and resourceful with a natural ability to solve problems and seek new information
- Open to deepening your existing skills and learning new ones
- Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
- Passion for sustainable agriculture and food
