Description

Central Bethany, an established and growing real estate development and property management company just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area, seeks a Social Media Specialist to join the Marketing team! The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to drive traffic and increase engagement across our multi-location, multi-industry social media channels (including multi-family housing, senior housing and care, athletic club, yoga studio, and shopping centers/communities.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Shift: This is a semi-hybrid position – working 4 days onsite from our corporate office located in Bethany Village/NW Portland and 1 day from home.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with property teams to gather and produce localized information to create authentic social media content for each property/brand
  • Write, create, schedule, analyze, and monitor organic social media content and paid social media ads across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Nextdoor using social media management tools
  • Manage social media for multiple locations throughout NW Portland, Beaverton, and Gresham
  • Produce and engage with content in real-time during public community events (some evenings and weekends are required)
  • Responsible for responding to and managing customer service-based comments and direct messages across all properties and platforms
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting, including KPIs, social media growth, and engagement across all locations
  • Assist with other Marketing projects as needed
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as Social Media Specialist or similar role; demonstrated social media growth
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Experience with creating and managing Facebook/Meta Ad campaigns is a must
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, and Meta Business Suite
  • Loves social media and enjoys staying up to date with the newest update rollouts, following best practices on each platform
  • Eye for design and attention to detail
  • A self-starter, with the ability to work independently, handle challenges with a positive attitude, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think strategically, handle multiple tasks, and communicate with team in-person and remote
  • Strong time management skills
