Description

Working out of the Melrose Park, IL corporate office, the Technical Trainer will be an integral member of the Sales and Marketing teams by assisting in creating and administering product and software training for the company's personnel and customers throughout the U.S. This role will assist in the creation and organization of all marketing and training materials based on current and projected company needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with training both internal personnel and our customers by creating training materials or providing training sessions.
  • Help train new sales department personnel by conducting training on company products and software (CRM software CIM, SAP, etc.)
  • Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.
  • Email training agendas, pre-training assignments, and class reminders to participants. Ship training materials as needed. Set up and break down training rooms.
  • Assist with Marketing by creating Marketing Materials, contacting vendors for pricing, and requesting samples.
  • Assist with requests for literature / marketing materials from customers and internal personnel, processing requests in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with stockkeeping, ensuring adequate levels of marketing and training materials based on current and projected needs.
  • Perform inventory control activities related to training and marketing materials.
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience using Adobe Software, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Previous experience in Training and/or Teaching, especially in a classroom setting, is preferred.
  • Experience working in an industrial or warehouse industry is preferred
  • Bilingual English & Spanish is preferred.
