About the position:
 

At Pathway Capital Management, LP, the Tax Administrative Intern is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Assist in managing high volume of tax-related email communications, both incoming and outgoing
  • Process incoming mail and prepare items to be mailed
  • Correspond with external investment professionals
  • Maintain extensive tax information in internal database
  • Upload / Download tax information to / from outside tax advisors
  • Assist in tracking a high volume of tax information in various Excel spreadsheets
  • Prepare check request and approval forms
  • Update internal calendar for tax payments, extensions, notices and various tax filings
  • Update files with the proper naming conventions for all incoming tax documents
  • If time permits, assist with tax intern work if needed

Qualifications:

  • Currently working on bachelor’s degree, preferred Freshman or Sophomore with a Business / Accounting major (willing to consider other majors)
  • Ability to work initially a minimum of 10-15 hours with the possibility of working a maximum of 29 hours a week
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the internal Tax Accounting team and external professionals
  • Strong organizational/multi-tasking and project planning skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to adhere to set schedule
  • Duration of internship is a minimum of 2 years
