Description

General branch support role including sign shop, yard, warehouse, fleet, and other administrative and operational support duties.

Essential Duties
Facilities:

• Ensure Facility are compliant with company standards
• Responsible for general maintenance and repair for all facilities
• RIOS will perform any maintenance and repair that can be conducted internally
• Ensure Branch Assistants are trained and capable of conducting repair & maintenance
• Perform monthly facility audits for assigned branches
• Address any facility issues with Regional Manager or Branch/Operations Manager
• Moving branch relocations/facilities set-up, & breakdown
• Ensure Warehousing standards are met per Company guidelines

Fleet:
• Ensure Fleet & equipment are compliant with company standards
• Responsible for general maintenance and repair for all Fleet & equipment
• RIOS will perform any maintenance and repair that can be conducted internally
• Coordinate all scheduled and nonscheduled repairs to fleet equipment
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance with Corporate Fleet Manager
• Conduct weekly audits of vehicle tickets for assigned region(s)
• Track and review fuel usage for field employees monthly to ensure accuracy
• Assist branch with monthly equipment/fleet inventory

Sign Shop:
• Maintain all equipment in a safe and working condition

Qualifications

Required Knowledge:
• Knowledge of construction industry and MUTCD are preferred
• Proficiency in traffic control setup regulations preferred
• Knowledge of repair process for all equipment
• Knowledge of Traffic Control equipment from a mechanical, electrical, & functionality standpoint

Equipment Operated:
• Vehicles (Trucks/Cars) of various sizes
• Flatbed trucks
• Trailer mounted warning signs
• Cones, delineators, drums, barricades, signs, and various other traffic control devices
• Trailer

Skills and Abilities:
• Basic mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn new skills on the job quickly

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• Requires standing for prolonged periods of time
• Requires lifting up 50lb
• Requires using hands to handle, control or lift objects
• Requires being outside and exposed to environmental conditions
• Requires being in construction environment
• Requires repetitive movement
• Exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment and moving vehicular traffic
• Exposure to reasonable noise levels

Education and Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of related experience preferred
