Seeking Outside Sales Representatives for our Lancaster County Magazine.

SUMMARY: Generates sales revenue for Engle Printing & Publishing Co, Inc.’s Lancaster Magazine.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

· Attain a minimum 110% of assigned revenue goal through a high level of business development activity (average of 20 qualifying contacts and other Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s))

· Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of territory opportunity and improvement

· Develop and demonstrate knowledge of EPC sales and marketing portfolio, including rates, digital marketing services and non-traditional offerings

· Effectively create and recommend products and services that meet the customer's needs, using data and portfolio knowledge to support recommendation

· Provide top-notch customer service, maintaining the highest levels of personal and professional behavior in the market and in the workplace

· Regular communication with management and completion of all required sales process activities

· Provide accurate revenue forecasts and market intelligence that may impact revenue (+/-)

· Embrace new products or programs as the company continues to diversify and test new revenue streams

· Knowledge of competitive media landscape

· Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue goals by prospecting for new business via cold calling and other techniques

· Highly motivated, self-starting individual with initiative and drive to succeed

· Ability to push past rejection and achieve results

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver effective presentations

· Strong networking and community involvement skills – attend opportunities at least 2x/month

· Eagerness to learn, continually seeking to improve sales skills

· Organized with an attention for detail

· Manage and log activity in CRM daily

· Quick Learner and Coachable – Ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information about our services. Ability to translate that information into specific benefits for customers/prospects.

· Enthusiastic and Persistent

· Speaks and writes clearly and articulately. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communication, including e-mail.

· Intuitively balances quality and quantity of activity to maximize results. Ability to manage multiple campaigns at any given time and to follow up

· Work collaboratively with all support teams

· Ability to think and act independently

· Understand and communicate departmental and company policies.

· Routinely participate in field ride-a-long with manager, accepting training and development requests and opportunities

· Work well with the advertising team, providing a positive dynamic within the team.

· Attend trade shows and other networking opportunities

· Collect and supervise collection of payment due

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

· Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. College education and/or related work experience preferred.

· Language Skills: Be able to communicate well through listening and verbal skills and have the ability to transfer those communications into written form.

· Mathematical Skills: Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division required.

· Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Should be able to research and have an understanding of customer’s business prior to making calls. Individual should be able to anticipate customer needs and objections, then use creative thinking to offer solutions.

· Computer Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Google Drive, Spreadsheets, Email, Web, CRM systems.

· Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage is required. Reliable transportation is required.

· Other Qualifications:

A Home Office will be established, requiring:

1. A high-speed internet connection.

2. Home office space for files.

3. A computer and router, which meets IT Department specifications.
