The Recruiter provides service to the organization in the areas of recruiting, on-boarding, record keeping, HRIS, and general questions about LifeCenter Northwest’s (LCNW) policies and procedures. This position is held to a very high standard in terms of confidentiality.

Job responsibilities are stated in broad terms and are not intended to be inclusive.

Recruiting and Onboarding:

  • Manages the hiring process at the direction of the LifeCenter Northwest (LCNW) leadership team.
  • Trains and supports hiring managers with the use of the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Posts vacant job advertisements at various job boards, associations, and universities. Manages online presence for all recruitment related activity. Builds and maintains relationships with educational institutions ensuring a pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Serves as administrator to the employment site of the external LCNW website.
  • Writes interview questions and coaches staff on appropriate interview topics. Provides interview training to staff and managers regarding effective and compliant recruitment practices.
  • Screens resumes and conducts pre-screening interviews with candidates. Schedules interviews with hiring managers across departments.
  • Facilitates and participates in the panel interview process. Serves as main point of contact for job applicants.
  • Coordinates and schedules temporary staffing activities when needed.
  • Develops compensation recommendations for new hires in accordance with LCNW compensation strategy and practices.
  • Composes offer letters and new-hire paperwork.
  • May assist or provide guidance and direction to hiring managers when making employment offers.
  • Processes background, motor vehicle record, and reference checking for all offered candidates. Maintains relationship with background and reference check vendors.
  • Conducts HR portion of orientation with new hires with support from HR Assistant. Completes all pre-hire documentation.
  • Partners with Information Technology department on new hire requirements and notices.
  • Works with Human Resources Director to create clear, consistent messaging in order to strengthen the employment brand of the organization.
  • Manages employee referral program.
  • Collaborates with Community Relations & Marketing Team on social media promotion for job advertisements and employer accounts.
  • Partner closely with HR team to create, deliver and innovate process improvements, policies, procedures and various other HR initiatives.



  • Performs exit interviews and completes termination paperwork with departing employees.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources Business Partner to track and trend feedback identified in exit interviews. Partners with HR Director to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partners with Information Technology to terminate all departing employee access.


Human Resources Administration:

  • Serves as Human Resources Information System (HRIS) super user. Assists employees with employee self service module of the HRIS.
  • Responds to employee inquiries about HR related policy and benefits.
  • Tracks and trends HR and Recruitment metrics.
  • Reviews and edits HR related policy and procedure as requested by the HR Director.
  • Assist Human Resources Director in assigning new positions a salary grade.
  • Provides support to the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Business Partner on annual benefit renewal process. Assists in open enrollment events, administration, and enrollment.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related, preferred.
  • Minimum four years’ full cycle recruiting experience required.
  • One-year recruiting coordination experience, preferred. 
  • Relevant work experience can be considered and substituted for academic requirements.
  • PHR designation or equivalent desired. 
  • Minimum two years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and access to an insured automobile or the ability to arrive and depart from work and work related functions at expected times.

This is a hybrid position that will require the employee to reside within the state of Washington. 



Based on considerations of various state requirements within our service area, Organ Procurement Organization industry practices, our hospital and community partner requirements, and our commitment to the safety of our people and communities, LifeCenter Northwest has made the decision to require members of our workforce to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by October 18, 2021.
