This individual must be a strong writer and may assist with a variety of strategic communications projects such as social media, internal communications, media relations, channel communications, and content development; help with administration elements of general account PR activity; monitor PR/media coverage for accounts (media relations); help manage measurement execution and reporting; act as a secondary or support-level contact for clients; and is possibly a primary media contact for small to midsize clients. This individual also helps with special projects and events related to PR efforts; provides content development and writing support, including press release development; and helps with research, fulfillment, and other needs related to PR efforts.



  • Support strategic communications strategic planning efforts through a strong understanding of client industries and trends
  • Assist with long- and short-term planning, and help ensure plans are executed and stay on schedule
  • Assist with content development and distribution
  • Assist with social media monitoring, planning, execution, and administration
  • Assist with industry and media research, and media relations
  • Provide input on evaluation and measurement; execute measurement activity and help provide reports internally and for the client
  • Provide general account assistance as-needed
  • Maintain deadlines while being a supportive team member
  • College degree in public relations, journalism, communications, business, or related field
  • Strong project administration and organizational skills
  • Good writing skills, including interviewing sources
  • Aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in social media is preferred
