Job duties and responsibilities:

Responsible and immediately supervised by the Recruiting and Experience Coordinator.

  • Organize new employee orientation.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
  • Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open.
  • Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies and keep current with sourcing strategies and industry trends.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications and review and clarify job qualifications, competencies and skills required.
  • Source applicants through various methods including advertising, recruiters, job sites, career fairs, and online platforms.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by reviewing applications and/or resumes, pre-screening job candidates, interviewing applicants, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with hiring managers.
  • Manage all communication with candidates and hiring managers, such as informing candidates fully about the job and company and providing regular updates and feedback to managers.
  • Conduct background checks and facilitate pre-employment testing when needed.
  • Maintain an accurate and current applicant tracking database within the HRIS.
  • Extend offers of employment within company guidelines and manage the job offer including negotiation and administration.
  • Analyze and report recruiting metrics (cost per hire, hiring turnaround, etc.) on an on-going basis with appropriate members of management.
  • Ensure regulatory aspects of the full cycle recruitment process is compliant with federal and state legislation.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with relevant employment law.
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other related field of study preferred.
  • 2+ years of prior experience in recruitment or human resources, with knowledge of screening, interviewing, and hiring practices.

Valid driver's license required.
