The Account Manager works closely with the Account Director and Account Supervisor to ensure all initiatives, campaigns and projects are managed on-brand and on-strategy for leading animal nutrition and agricultural OEM accounts, among others. The Account Manager maintains active communication with their client contacts through ongoing status and client delivery meetings, consistently managing clients’ expectations and revisions, as well as identifying out-of-scope requests. The Account Manager consistently documents client communications and status meeting debriefs, delivering to the internal team to keep them updated and informed. Additionally, the Account Manager is responsible for monitoring project financial metrics.

Ideally, this associate would have a background in animal health and / or agriculture, but not required.




  • Demonstrates an awareness of core agency service offerings/capabilities
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of program/campaign architecture and estimate structures
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of project architecture and estimate structures
  • Ensures accurate and complete collection of client assets
  • Maintains basic knowledge of their clients' industry/segment
  • Maintains basic knowledge of clients and their consumer profiles
  • Maintains awareness of clients' competitors and informs team, as applicable
  • Maintains awareness of scope creep and notifies Account Director/Account Supervisor
  • Manages project budgets
  • Facilitates weekly client-facing status meeting (strategy)
  • Maintains successful client relationships
  • Ensures successful execution of their clients' projects
  • Owns client advocate communication
  • Ensures deliverables undergo internal approval process before being presented to client and proofread, as necessary
  • Manages overall strategic quality and correctness of deliverables
  • Effectively presents agency work to clients
  • Manages project financial metrics
  • Demonstrates basic understanding of the client's organizational structure and operations
  • Ensures accuracy of client contacts for agency
  • Builds and maintains internal filing for client assets
  • Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Other duties, as assigned
  • 3+ years of account management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or journalism
  • Marketing agency experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of one or more agency capabilities/offerings
  • Experience drafting client project proposals and SOWs
  • Experience with researching requirements for project goals and benchmarking
  • Experience in successfully managing clients through complex projects
  • Experience in project financial management and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to provide tactical solutions to client business objectives
  • Experience with working for animal health, nutrition and / or agriculture clients is a plus
