Position Purpose:
Responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager with financial services including; Overseeing the payroll process, maintaining accurate general ledger, maintaining good and efficient internal controls, and financial reporting. 

Principal Accountabilities:

Responsible for processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis, including importing data and reconciling totals to Paycom. 

Process and send Old Beer reports, process protections requests, and calculated Quality Bonus, monthly. 

Import Monthly MBO’s into payroll and review Mktg team’s roll-up’s. 

Prepare and send employee anniversary pay increase letters to managers monthly, for approval. 

Assist with the month end / year end closing activities including bank and other account reconciliations, transaction research, period ending reports, etc by the 10th business day following month end.

Assist with the preparation of  the Weekly Dashboard reporting and other periodic reporting and budgeting process including industry financial reporting. 

Assist with  understanding and improving processes in the accounting department ensuring organizational efficiency and recommend changes to improve internal controls and financial performance.

Assist Accounting Manager with year-end audit and annual 401(k) audit. 

Assist CEO, President, CFO, Managers and Supervisors and other staff as necessary and adheres to all company policies and procedures.

The Accounting Senior position will adhere to the HCB Confidentiality Agreement and  will not without Company’s written consent, at any time, directly or indirectly, use, disclose or otherwise communicate any Confidential Information to any person or entity. 

This position is considered a leader in the organization.  As such, the Accounting Senior will maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.  The position will be asked to perform duties “above and beyond the normal” from time to time and expected to willingly and professionally perform such duties.  Position is expected to be a positive role model for other employees.
