The Heinz History Center is currently seeking a Digital Solutions Coordinator to support its websites and digital services. The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to manage and grow the History Center’s dynamic new website, which launches in Fall 2022. Part of the Technology team, this important role supports the business needs across all History Center departments through various technology platforms and works closely with the Communications division. 

The key responsibilities of the Digital Solutions Coordinator include:
•    Serve as website administrator and first-line support for website issues.
•    Serve as product owner for ecommerce systems for ticketing, retail, membership sales, event registrations, and event rental inquiries.
•    Support email marketing activities through list management and email deployment.
•    Provide project support for the implementation of a staff intranet.
•    Provide support for departments in extracting data and providing timely reports for decision-making.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Technology & Digital Services.


At least 2 years of experience managing ecommerce or organizational websites. 

Knowledge of at least two or more of the following:

  • Wordpress
  • Google Analytics & Data Studio
  • Shopify
  • Online event registration/ticketing platforms
  • Email marketing services
  • HTML, CSS, PHP for web development

Ability to learn new software as required and understand product documentation. Motivation to continue learning new technologies and stay on top of industry developments.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. 

Basic photo editing and proofreading skills. 

Attention to detail. Ability to identify, pre-empt, and solve problems as part of a team. Likewise, ability to identify, create plans and implement strategies to capture opportunities as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all divisions across a busy museum system. Understanding of the role our digital systems play in delivering the mission of the History Center.

The successful candidate will be required to prove that they have received the COVID-19 vaccine or have a valid religious or medical reason not to be vaccinated.
