JOB TITLE: Information Systems Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Regional Information Technology Manager


SALARY: $45,000- $48,000 annually


JOB SUMMARY: The position will provide direct technical assistance and support to staff for network, hardware and software issues.


  • Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop and document solutions.
  • Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system/s and application software.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and arrange for other servicing when needed.
  • Identify, amend, and report system issues to IT Manager.  Test and monitor resolution of reported issues.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for all IT related equipment.
  • Contribute to Elitch Gardens’ technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development.
  • Assist users in determining appropriate software solutions to meet needs, and document user requests for future feature implementation pertaining to company proprietary software.
  • Develop and provide user training for basic hardware and software use.
  • Provide backup technical support for internal network including firewall, router, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses.
  • Maintenance of phone systems (analog and digital)
  • Point of sale support and training for front line staff.
  • Maintain open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

  • Must be self-motivated, professional, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Professional/Enterprise edition of Microsoft Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11 as well as iOS and Android mobile platforms in a technical support environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016 with an understanding of Active Directory pertaining to user accounts, file server/file share management, and network management features (DHCP/DNS/DFS)
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2016 Applications and Microsoft Office 365 cloud services (Outlook, MS Office Suite, OneDrive, etc.)
  • Experience with PBX management and phone installation with an emphasis on line repair/replacement preferred
  • Experience with networking technologies and printer support is preferred
  • Ability to perform operating system and application software installations/upgrades, as well as virus protection and eradication.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal, drug, alcohol, and social security background check
