Description

The People Success Specialist fulfills a vital role within our People Success Team and will execute a large variety of tasks which leads the recruiting, employee/leadership development and training, and retailer/customer Human Resource efforts. Designing and implementing the overall recruiting strategy.  Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media, texting etc. The specialist will create innovative job postings, pre-screen candidates, and provide guidance to the hiring manager during the hiring process by using multiple assessments and tools.    The individual may be involved in conducting interviews and filtering candidates for open positions. This individual's work may include handling sensitive or confidential information, in which case the Specialist must exercise restraint and tact. The individual must be able to embrace an ‘ownership thinking’ approach to doing business and be able to perform under limited guidance and tight deadlines.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee heavy scheduling and calendar invites for recruiting, meetings, committees, events, etc.; adapt to last-minute changes in schedules and priorities
  • Perform administrative work: oversee and enhance job descriptions, onboarding process, take information and create content to education employees on initiatives.
  • Design and implement the overall recruiting strategy. Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media, texting, etc. Conducting interviews and filtering candidates for open positions.
  • Process paperwork and follow up documentation for background and reference checks
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires and preparing schedules
  • Assist with new hire training
  • Administer and train on GRITTRAC (goal setting), lead, monitor, educate, and communicate on this tool.  Help leaders navigate and complete sessions timely.
  • Responsible for developing effective training programs are in place to enable the achievement of desired business results.  Lead, plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate training initiatives to develop leaders.
  • Assessing various training and development options and making recommendations on which to use. Aligning leadership training with the overall business goals. Overseeing the budget for training and development.
  • Provide human resources support to retail operations through participation in Discovery Days, the Franchise Advisory Committee and direct contact with Champs Chicken and BluTaco locations.
  • Implement, develop, and maintain a retailer learning program by utilizing the Communications Tablet to provide value to retail locations by being a resource to them.
  • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
  • Focus on achieving company goals, embrace the company’s mission and vision statement and live according to our core values
  • Protect and assure PFS values and policies are upheld and complied to, and that PFS processes are implemented as appropriate
  • Perform all other duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in the Human Resource field, with proven experience in recruiting strategy, applicant tracking systems, sourcing techniques, human resources knowledge, leadership development experience, and/or combination of all the above.
  • Proven ability to remain confidential
  • Focused on relationship building, resilience, adaptable, professionally persistent
  • Experience assisting leaders and working with people
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented
  • Willingness to work until the job is complete – A get it done mentality! 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all types of personalities
  • Has a sense of urgency
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Certification and/or degree in Human Resource Management preferred
