POSITION SCOPE

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work in partnership with the Director of DEI, Talent, and Culture to design, manage, and develop all practices and initiatives associated with recruitment and on-boarding of new associates. This role will play an integral part of the design and development of expanding and refining our recruitment and hiring practices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage full cycle recruitment and hiring processes and procedures
  • Serve as SME within HRIS system as it relates to Applicant Tracking
  • Assist in facilitating training sessions for hiring managers related to interviewing and hiring.
  • In partnership with the Director of DEI, Talent, and Culture, assist with the evaluation of current pre-employment and on-boarding procedures
  • Track, manage, and communicate efficiently with new hires to ensure all pre-employment requirements are met in preparation for their first day
  • Schedule and conduct new hire orientation and ensure all appropriate partners within the organization are informed regarding the hire of new associates
  • Work closely with members within technology and facilities department in preparation for anticipated new hires
  • Conduct and provide accurate, up to date, market data research related to compensation
  • Assist with all people reporting and tracking
  • Partner with hiring managers to anticipate future staffing needs and ensure you have a clear understanding of business needs
  • Work closely with hiring managers, finance, and legal team to ensure appropriate contracts are executed and on file for all work with third party agencies for direct hires
  • Develop and maintain talent pipeline for positions across the organization
  • Complete special projects as needed

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Must have the highest integrity keep information confidential and be able to keep your own counsel on all HR information.
  • Must be personable, have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can work effectively with a wide range of personalities and people at all levels in the organization
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of employment law, HR concepts & practices, legal compliance, and administrative procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, timely, and confident in making recommendations
  • Must have the ability to make administrative and procedural decisions on sensitive, confidential issues.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, and to define and solve problems.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure all are completed accurately and on time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have 2-3+ years of full cycle recruitment experience
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter highly preferred
  • Experience using and managing an ATS a plus
  • In depth knowledge of the legal aspect of HR practices such as; FMLA, ADA, FLSA, DOL, Title VII, and others pertaining to the human resources function and hiring practices.
