Description

The ideal IT Support/ Help Desk candidate will be a motivated individual that performs all duties required with technology assistance. The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Assist users in resolving problems through discussion and diagnosis
  • Takes the necessary steps to remedy the problem
  • Able to diagnose problems and will refer problems requiring specialized intervention to a higher level
  • Becoming a solid troubleshooting resource for our one-year-old ERP system
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Assisting with our third-party network IT services provider to get faster results for our team
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Assist in providing technical support across the company
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology
  • Training users on the software and hardware as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Specialized training beyond high school and 2 + years of experience in computer software and hardware applications
  • A thirst for knowledge, as this is a role with a high potential for growth
  • An ease with technology, especially MS365 products
  • A technical, logical thought process and strong problem-solving skills
  • An ability to prioritize and multitask for maximum results
  • An ability to work independently to successful project completion
  • Professionally and positively communicate and assist at all levels of the organization as you will get to know everyone in their hour of need
  • Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail
  • Knowledge of Global Shop Solutions is a plus
