We have provided sleep care services for over 25 years with a comprehensive "continuum of care" that includes home sleep testing (HST) and CPAP treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and ongoing resupply. As a Patient Care Coordinator you will:

Provide consistent and superior care to our patients:

  • Greet patients that come into our San Carlos Patient Service Center
  • Answer phones
  • Ensure that all patients’ questions and issues are resolved properly and quickly
  • Communicate professional with our patients regarding services and equipment


Manage patient appointments and billing information

  • Schedule patient appointments and reminder calls, when necessary
  • Perform data entry into medical billing and proprietary software
  • Responsible for collecting co-insurance payments from patients and completing Patient Responsibility form for the billing department
  • Filing patient documents in electronic medical recording software


Partner with internal and external stakeholders:

  • Verify eligibility and benefits with insurance companies when needed
  • Work closely with the billing staff
  • Support the patient service center staff with various projects
  • Complete administrative duties, such as receiving, sorting and distributing faxes

Other ad-hoc projects/responsibilities as needed.



Minimum Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong computer skills, to include proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1+ years' experience in a customer service capacity within the healthcare industry (eg. serving patients, members, providers, etc.); call center experience highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in the medical industry and knowledge of medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with database management systems, such as Brightree a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously




This position:

  • Full-time Monday Friday onsite, 8:30-5:00 w/ ½ hour lunch and two 10 minute breaks
  • Non-Exempt (Overtime must be approved in advance with manager)
  • Reports to Patient Service Center Supervisor
