BRAZING

The ideal brazing team member will be a motivated individual that can perform all duties in the brazing department. They must learn the brazing process including use of the torch. Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Leak checking
• Sandblasting
• Grinding
• Buffing of parts
• Bluing secondaries
• Ability to work with a team and by yourself
• Willingness to train other employees
• Take initiative and accept responsibility for job assignments/duties
• Attention to detail
• Safely operate equipment
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment
• Have good organizational skills
• Effective time management
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime with minimal supervision
• Have regular and reliable attendance as well as punctuality

• Ability to read, write, speak English, add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. while using safe lifting techniques
• Ability to occasionally manually handle material
• Ability to occasionally use technology to access internal systems
• Ability to withstand elevated temperature and noise
