ASSEMBLY LEADPERSON

The ideal assembly leadperson team member will be a motivated individual that performs all duties required of a leadperson. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:

• 20% production / 80% supervision
• HR responsibility
• Employee reviews
• Continuous improvement
• ECR creation
• Workflow
• Positive attitude

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Read blueprints
• Kit parts
• Follow work instructions
• Have attention to detail
• Use basic computer skills
• Give direction to and be a role model to the assembly team members
• Safely operate equipment
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment
• Have good organizational skills
• Effective time management
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime with minimal supervision
• Ability to work with a team and by yourself
• Convey a positive image of the company in all actions and behaviors
• Take initiative and accept responsibility for job assignments/duties
• Have regular and reliable attendance as well as punctuality
• Communicate and provide direction to night shift assembly tasks

• Ability to read, write, speak English, add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to operate Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. while using safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to occasionally manually handle material
• Ability to operate iSeries.
• Must be open to leadership training.
