JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The incumbent for the position of Administrative Coordinator should have, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Post high school education is highly desirable. He/She must have excellent typing skills with a minimum rate of seventy (70) words per minute. He/She must have a good grasp of the English language and must have excellent grammar skills. He/She must have two (2) to four (4) years of clerical experience. He/She should have a good working knowledge of medical terminology. He/She should have prior computer experience. He/She must have strong organizational skills. He/She must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
DEGREE OF JOB DIFFICULTY
Since the Administrative Coordinator’s work is checked by the assigned department director and/or the President/CEO, the degree of difficulty falls into the moderate range. Inadvertent errors or mistakes could result in loss of relationships with donor hospitals or OPOs. Legal action is possible if information is transcribed incorrectly.
