What you'll be doing:
The Maintenance Technician III will complete any task assigned within the employees trade using the work experience, knowledge, skills, and ability of a master of a certain trade.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Repair and service all equipment associated within the technicians mastered field.
- Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment.
- Assist Levels I and II technicians on projects within their mastered field.
- Provide support to superiors when needed.
- Review all tenant upfit work with superiors as it pertains to their mastered field.
- Assist with outside contracted work as it pertains to their mastered field.
- Take a leadership role when working in their area of expertise.
- Share skills and knowledge with other fellow employees.
- Perform tasks as assigned by superiors.
- Keep work area clean at all times.
- Develop and maintain good business relationships with all tenants.
- Report all problems to engineering supervisors or security, as applicable.
What we need from you:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school
- Five years of experience in maintenance or building operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to communicate effectively with employees, superiors and tenants.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables.
- Valid driver license required to operate company and / or personal vehicle to pick up supplies/parts and/or travel to other Childress Klein locations and / or attend company functions.
