Position Summary

The Case Manager will be part of the Extended Case Management Program (ECMP) funded by the Maryland Office of Refugees and Asylees.  The Case Manager provides clients with the support needed to overcome barriers preventing them from accessing ELT, gainful employment, health care, or other community resources necessary to achieve integration. The barriers may include, but are not limited to childcare, transportation, language, illiteracy, financial illiteracy, and unfamiliarity with U.S. work culture and customs. 


Essential Functions

  • Maintain a caseload of thirty (30) clients
  • Provide intake and assessment for eligible clients and create an Individual Service Plan
  • Conduct outreach for program and make referrals as appropriate
  • As appropriate and based on assessment, request financial assistance for client
  • Create and maintain accurate data records 
  • Produce and submit reports in a timely manner
  • Coordinate services with other area agencies
  • Other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent
  • Field of Study: Social Work, Psychology, International Studies, human services or related field
