Job Title: Project Manager 1

Reports To: Director of Supply Chain and Support Services

Classification: Full Time, Exempt

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Supply Chain and Support Services in the administration and oversight of assigned projects. Project management will encompass the total span of projects from inception/idea to completion and follow up. Assigned projects may vary. There will be a prioritization of projects relating to supply chain functions, and new construction of clinics with a strong emphasis on the medical home concept. A successful candidate will be able to manage people and processes in a federally regulated business environment to reach successful outcomes.

Essential Job Duties

  • Manage cross-departmental projects that have high strategic importance to the business, including:
    • Defining project scope;
    • Defining and managing responsible parties, plans, and timelines;
    • Managing project integrations;
    • With the aide of the Director of Supply Chain and Support Services project budgets and expenses
    • Management of communication processes to ensure that processes are applied and followed; and
    • Ensuring continuous improvement of the communication stream and application of any newly adopted standards.
    • Develop and drive a culture of project management and accountability for assigned projects.
    • Promote and integrate the use of continuous improvement techniques into projects as opportunities arise.
    • Utilize industry-accepted tools and techniques for managing projects to completion.
    • Perform other duties as assigned, including support of supply chain functions in periods of downtime for priority new clinic builds.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 + years of experience in administrative, healthcare, or related field preferred
  • 3 + years of project management preferred
  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma experience and/or certification preferred.

    • Reliable transportation and valid Oregon Drivers License is Required.
    • Work Environment
  • This position is typically with a 40-hour per week, with hours that may vary. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud based on patient volume. As a result of high patient volume, this position experiences stressors that come along with a fast-paced environment. Must be able to travel during the workday and/or cover at other locations as needed.
