This full-time position offers 40 hours a week.
The Family Medicine Clinic's hours of operation are from 7:00 am-7:00 pm, six days a week (Monday-Saturday).
Klickitat Valley Health is a rural, critical-access hospital located in scenic Goldendale, Washington only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. KVH offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including General Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, PT / OT, Behavioral Health, Dental, Pain Management, and Hospice. The hospital also owns a busy, well-established primary clinic that is located on the hospital campus. Inpatient care is managed by 24/7 Hospitalist staff. KVH employs over 300 staff.

The Medical Assistant I (MA) performs direct patient care activities under the direction of a licensed provider in the Family Medicine (FM) clinic within his/her scope of practice (RCW 18.360.050). The MA I supports the provider, nurse, or other staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access by organizing patient flow, collecting patient information, entering all patient information and clinical data in the electronic medical record (EMR), communicating key information with the physician/provider, anticipating and acting on patient needs proactively. The MA I demonstrates excellence in customer service during interactions with employees, managers/supervisors, patients, patient family members, physicians, and other customers; and works collaboratively with colleagues and departments throughout the organization to provide optimal patient outcomes. Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
