Job Description:
The IT Security Analyst position supports the mission of the IT Security Department by applying information security concepts to review and mitigate cyber security risks within the environment. This is achieved through information security governance, as well as technical controls throughout the network.

- Daily checks and audits of systems and tickets
- Answering emails and phone calls
- Enterprise Security Operations
o O365 Security Administration
o Cloud Security
o SEIM/MDR/UTM/SOAR
o Endpoint Security Management
o Network Traffic Analysis
- Vulnerability Management
- User Access Management
- Change Management Control
- Risk Assessments
- Security Awareness
- Other duties as assigned

Internal:
- Routine contact with department supervisors and IT staff to identify areas of cyber security risk.
External:
- Routine contact with vendors to identify areas of cyber security risk.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required to Enter the Job:
At least 2 years of Professional Information Security Experience
Functional Experience with 3 or more of the following systems:
o Active Directory/Azure AD
o Microsoft ATP Suite
o Cloud Security
o Web content filtering
o Spam filters
- Experience with 3 or more of the following functions:
o Information security administration
o Vulnerability scanning
o Penetration testing
o Server administration
o Network device administration
o Various industry security standards (ITIL, PCI, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001.)
o Network/server troubleshooting
- Ability to self-govern by accomplishing tasks with little supervision
- Excellent verbal communication skills as evidenced by the ability to interact both face-to-face and over the telephone with contacts and co-workers
- Demonstrates ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with vendors and co-workers, and a "professional” personal appearance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and assist other departments with information system security issues as required
- Experience working with MS Office
- In addition to possessing the skills necessary to perform the job, the employee must be willing and able to demonstrate these skills by coming to work on a daily basis.
