Extended Day Monitor

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Monitor students as they arrive from and depart to extracurricular activities held on campus during Extended Day hours.
2. Provide multiple indoor activities in which students may participate.
3. Provide a quiet environment area for students wishing to do homework or read.
4. Maintain accurate records of behavior issues as they occur.
5. Report behavior issues to the Lower/Intermediate School Division Head.
6. Communicate behavior issues to parents.
7. Maintain accurate daily attendance records.
8. Maintain accident reports as needed.
9. Tally attendance records for billing purposes.
10. Monitor parent sign out procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent verbal communication skills
2. Able to concentrate on multiple problems/tasks at once.
3. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Must complete Fingerprinting process with the Department of Education through Field Print, Background Screening, and Drug testing via hair sample.
