GENERAL PURPOSE:
The employee, in tandem with Ampla Healths Safety Officer and as overseen by the Director of Clinical Services, will play an essential role in providing safety training mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as it relates to employee safety. The employee will also provide mandated trainings relating to patient safety for insurance companies, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other entities. The employee will participate in updating safety plans on an annual basis.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Works with Director of Clinical Services to ensure education is aligned with OSHA Standards and other mandated education through other organizations.

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 2 years of experience in safety and/or training
- Knowledge or OSHA safety requirements
- Use of Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Docs required
- Strong oral and written communications
- Valid California RN Registered Nurse License issued by the Board of Registered Nurse required
- Current CPR certification required
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cordial working relationships with corporations employees, potential patients, public and private services organizations, community residents
- Valid California drivers license and proof of insurance
- Reliable method to and work with people of all ages, social, cultural and ethnic background
- Demonstrates good judgment in the positive representation of Ampla Health
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of Ampla Health's clinic structure, standards, procedures and protocols
