Position Scope: Elmbrook Church is a non-denominational, intergenerational, multi-site church excited about the life change possible in Christ. Elmbrook’s mission is to help members become Rooted in Jesus Christ and Released to His mission. The Broadcast & Streaming Video Specialist reports to the Director of Production and plays a key role in the production of all worship services and events of Elmbrook Church.  The role makes sure that all aspects of the video supporting the weekend service or event runs smoothly and is at broadcast quality.

 Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the broadcast & streaming elements of all weekend services and events at Elmbrook Church.
  • Does all proactive and reactive maintenance on our video and streaming equipment, or works with our vendors to facilitate.
  • Troubleshoots all video and streaming issues.
  • Works and participates in the production of our weekend services and communicate via headset with the team.
  • Does all post production edits, uploads and archives of our broadcast and video streaming footage.
  • Has a working knowledge of various computer programs including but not limited to LiveStream Studio, Adobe Premiere, and BlackMagic Design Video Software.
  • Recruits and develops fully engaged volunteers to work on the production team.
  • Schedules weekly volunteers for any broadcast or streaming positions via Planning Center.
  • Assist the Director of Production with other task like implementing new stage designs.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Reproduce your role in the lives of other key leaders.

 Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, broadcast or related curriculum.
  • Three or more years of professional experience working in church production, broadcast or live stream video environment or similar work.
  • Strong planning, and problem-solving skills with experience managing projects and delivering them on time and on budget.
  • Ability to readily adapt to change.

Employment Information & Benefits

Employment Information:

This position is full time and classified as hourly, non-exempt

40 hours/week

This position is eligible for all benefits associated with full-time employment including medical, dental, vision and life insurance.  Refer to the Staff Handbook and information provided by Elmbrook’s insurance venders for specific details.

 

Paid Time Off (PTO) – Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO.  PTO is accrued on a calendar year basis.  Refer to the Staff Handbook for specific details. 

 

403b – Employees are eligible to participate in the 403b pension plan if they are scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week.  Entry dates for the 403b plan is the first of the month following date of hire.  On an employee’s first anniversary, Elmbrook will match up to 5%.

 

Holidays – Full time employees are eligible for holiday pay.  There are 10 holidays recognized by Elmbrook Church as paid holidays; refer to the Staff Handbook for specific details.
