Description

Friends University is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Director of CBASE Admissions to join our team in Wichita Kansas. This position will assist the Sr. Director of Enrollment Management in recruiting and advising prospective students for traditional undergraduate degree programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies for traditional undergraduate programs.
  • Support marketing efforts by providing prospective students and families with information about academic programs and the admissions process.
  • Coordinate with the enrollment management team to ensure the success of admissions events.
  • Engage with prospective students through phone calls, emails, texts, social media, and in-person meetings.
  • Build relationships with counselors, teachers, and coaches at thigh schools and community colleges.
  • Travel within and outside Kansas to lead recruitment efforts at high schools and community colleges.
  • Represent the university at college fairs and other off-campus events.
  • Provide on-campus assistance to walk-in prospective students, offering guidance on admissions, financial aid, payment plans, and other student services.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students to support their enrollment process.

Qualifications

Three to five years' experience in higher education, admissions, and /or marketing preferred.

Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree is preferred.

Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.

Hospitality, organization and accuracy, creativity and energy, ability to utilize digital tools quickly and effectively specifically experience with Banner information systems and salesforce is a plus, flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks, initiative and problem solving abilities.
