We are looking for a committed, energetic leader who is a passionate advocate for housing as a human rights issue. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing evening and weekend operations of our Transitional Recovery Housing and supervision of Resident Advocates.  This program works with single adults and families who are currently working towards sobriety and life-long goals while residing Avivo Recovery Housing apartments.   


Avivo Chemical and Mental Health Division is made up of three service Areas; Community Chemical and Mental Health, Supportive Housing and 245G substance use disorder  programs which provide a continuum of integrated services, including access, clinical treatment, care coordination, supportive housing, and recovery support.  We provide services that are innovative, person centered, strength based, and outcome driven.  We strive for the highest quality of services using culturally responsive harm reduction in a trauma informed environment.



  • Collaborate with Housing Program Director to ensure effectiveness of all services.
  • Oversee smooth running of day-to day operations on the evening, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Provide in-person supervision and support to Resident Advocates. 
  • Assist and support residents and staff when crises occur, ensuring safety of all residents.
  • Create and coordinate the monthly staff schedule and coverage plan.
  • Provide access to training and track required staff training participation.
  • Oversee the delivery of resident programming, developing programs that utilizes best practices.
  • Monitor documentation in Electronic Medical Records (Procentive).  
  • Apply and implement policies and procedures in collaboration with leadership team
  • Ensure program compliance and outcomes as detailed by program contracts, licensing and certification requirements
  • Manage contracts and partnerships with support from Housing Service Area Director
  • Actively participate in the division’s Trauma Informed Care Initiative and motivational interviewing
  • Employ a social justice minded approach to activity planning for participants
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with community partners, representing Avivo at various community meetings and events.



  • High School Diploma required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the field providing direct client care.  
  • Must have at least 1-year supervisory experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience with and/or a demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse, fast paced organization, developing and delivering culturally responsive harm reduction, trauma informed services.
  • Experience with electronic health records helpful.
  • Driver’s license in good standing and insured vehicle for business purposes.
  • Must be able to pass a DHS background study.

SALARY:  $50,247 - $62,809 per year, DOQ
